Sothys physical-tinted Sun Shield SPF30+ formulations are based on leading technology, developed by Australian CSIRO scientists, to micronise pigments and oxides in a non-aqueous liquid phase while simultaneously bonding and encapsulating the pigment and oxides.

This process offers greater skin protection, and is less likely to irritate the skin because the oxides and pigments do not make direct contact with the skin.

The additional advantage is that the particles are so small they let invisible light through, yet reflect more harmful UV radiation. The result of incorporating these exceptional technological ingredients into Sothys Tinted Sun Shields is that it contributes to greater user friendliness and appeal.

The technology of encapsulating TiO2 (Titanium Dioxide) also reduces the forming of hydroxyl radicals, therefore space hole migration, making the protection factor much greater.

By combining encapsulated TiO2 with encapsulated ZnO (Zinc Oxide) the apparent absorbence is 190-800 NM. This means broad-spectrum effectiveness across UVA, UVB and Infra-red.

Tinted Sun Shield UV Protectors

Daily use of Sothys tinted Sun Shield helps prevent wrinkles associated with premature ageing skin. They are broad spectrum (UVA/B & Infra-Red), moisturising and moisture protective in 3 different skin formulations: for dehydrated to dry skin, delicate to sensitive skin, normal to oily skin. All formulations are a powdery-matt texture on the skin, and are naturally tinted without artificial colours.
